Transuniverse Ro S.R.L., the Romanian subsidiary of Transuniverse Forwarding, is now also active in ‘shared services’ for third parties. It has been providing various administrative services for its parent company, but more recently these services have also been available to third-party companies.
Transuniverse Forwarding has had its own office in Constanta since 2010. Our subsidiary company now has 33 staff. It was originally set up to offer administrative support to the head office in Wondelgem, such as following-up and processing in-coming and out-going invoices. All of that lightens their Belgian colleagues’ workload considerably, leaving them to focus on operational activities and planning all shipments. After a few years, Transuniverse Ro also took on a control-tower role. It therefore keeps an eye on the entire supply chain for a number of big customers with complex goods streams.
Transuniverse Ro, has also recently started providing administrative services to third parties. The business now has a Belgian company as their first external customer. The support function encompasses order input, invoicing, preparation of customs documentation, checking incoming invoices, etc. This has now paved the way for other Belgian and international companies to have their administrative tasks carried out by the experienced Romanian team.
