Transuniverse Forwarding France is well underway. Indeed today, we are putting every effort into setting up our subsidiary company in France. The offices and the transshipment platform will be housed in the logistics zone Garonor, North of Paris.
Primarily, the aim of Transuniverse Forwarding France will be to expand its shipments to and from France. The new company will also play an important role in transport to and from Morocco and Tunisia. Lorries to and from Wondelgem will be able to stop in Garonor to re-load, so that the frequency of departures to all of these countries can be increased.
In addition to these operational tasks, the establishment will also have a commercial role to fulfil. A new team made up ten staff will ensure Transuniverse increases its presence in groupage shipping to and from France. It needs to make this happen within a relatively short time, to add to the existing shipments.
After Paris, we are looking to expand a hub in Lyon. In the medium term, Transuniverse also wants to open transshipment platforms in other major French cities.
