On Saturday, 13 October Transuniverse Forwarding celebrated its 35th anniversary with a gastronomes’ dinner and sparkling show in… a circus tent in Celles. No fewer than 500 customers, agents and staff members celebrated with us. Top restaurant De Mangerie of Lauwe supplied the feast and Circus Malter the unforgettable acts. It was a magical evening for our guests, which went on late into the night for some.
All Transuniverse agents were invited to our home base in Ghent the day before. Around 50 of them came, from every corner of Europe – and further afield – to forge closer links and find out more about the growth and evolution that Transuniverse has experienced over the past years. With ‘Customer satisfaction is our most important USP’ as the motto, they received a valuable overview of a number of important steps with which we have improved our service to our customers.
This was followed by a convivial boat trip in the Port of Ghent, which took us out to the Kluizendok terminal. We are developing our intermodal activities there, and have great plans for the future. But more about that shortly.
