Increased frequency to Scandinavia thanks to partnership with LEMAN

Transuniverse Forwarding and the Danish group LEMAN, one of the market leaders in groupage in Scandinavia, have entered into a partnership. As a result, service levels can be improved in transport to and from Denmark, but also Sweden, Norway and Finland. The frequency of departures to all of these countries has been increased.

“Since 1 August, the groupage operations in Scandinavia – which we outsourced until then – are handled directly by the LEMAN Group, a strong local partner which has previously been our business associate. This allows us to improve service and increase frequency. We now provide daily departures to Denmark, three times a week to Sweden and twice a week to Norway and Finland”, says Kevin Van Ongeval, Group Operations Director at Transuniverse Forwarding.

“Logistics, transportation and our general service level will be significantly improved for our logistics services to and from Belgium and the Nordic countries as well as the UK”, Jesper Autzen, Group COO Road at LEMAN, confirms.

LEMAN is a leading transport and logistics group based in Greve, near Copenhagen. It has its own branches in six countries: in addition to Denmark, these are Sweden, Norway, Finland, the United Kingdom and the United States. It also works with top partners in 120 countries. With more than 700 employees, LEMAN generates an annual turnover of around 300 million euros. In addition to road groupage, the group is active in sea and air freight, warehousing, project cargo and pharma/healthcare logistics.
