Transuniverse installs 16 charging stations for electric cars

Visitors can now recharge their electric car in the car park at Transuniverse in Wondelgem. TotalEnergies has installed no fewer than 16 charging stations for employees, which can also be used by visitors.

Transuniverse already has solar panels on the roof of its office building. For a few weeks now, this green energy has also been used for the charging stations installed by TotalEnergies. “Our fleet already consists of 39 latest generation hybrid cars and one full electric car.  Our aim is to switch completely to full electric cars within three years,” says purchase manager Miri Nedelcu.

To recharge their car batteries, employees use their TotalEnergies fuel card. “However, visitors do not necessarily need to have a TotalEnergies card to use the charging stations. They can do the same with their card from other suppliers. TotalEnergies just charges them for charging,” Miri adds.
