Job Description:
You will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of operational planning and transport activities. You ensure efficient and customer-friendly planning with attention to price and quality. You organize transport orders, deliveries, and pick-ups, always keeping procedures and customer expectations in mind.
You take into account shipment details, customer performance, and costs to maximize the gross profit per file. You also keep the TMS (Navision) up to date by updating customer and supplier information.
You’ll work in a rotating schedule with your colleagues. This means alternating every two weeks between the day shift (8:30 AM to 5:00 PM) and the early shift (7:00 AM to 3:00 PM). The third week, you’ll work the late shift (11:00 AM to 7:00 PM).
Skills & Competencies
• You are flexible and enjoy challenges
• Punctuality and setting priorities are among your strengths.
• Your social and communication skills ensure smooth interactions with customers, drivers, agents, etc.
• You have experience calculating load capacities, cubic meters, loading meters, etc.
• Shipping units such as Euro pallets, block pallets, and IBCs hold no secrets for you.
• Knowledge of CMR legislation, ADR, and INCOTERMS is a plus.
• Have you worked with the ERP system Navision before? That’s a definite advantage.
