The retirement of two dear colleagues

Véronique Ellegeest and Roger Vandewiele retire

Recently, Transuniverse said goodbye to two dear colleagues who retired: Véronique Ellegeest and Roger Vandewiele. They were waved off with a party full of warm words and pleasant moments.

Véronique worked in the Internal Sales department for five years and retired on 29 February. Her enthusiasm and dedication to the team were invaluable. We will miss her friendly personality and professionalism. We welcome our new colleague Houda Gassa as her replacement and look forward to her fresh insights and contribution to the team.

Roger retired on 31 March after an impressive 21 years of service. His dedication and expertise were second to none: he founded the Switzerland service team, where he made a difference for many years, and later put his talents to use in the Italy service team. Rogers’ dedication and knowledge will be missed, but we are happy to have Lenny Vergauwen take over his duties.

They were waved off at a heartwarming party, with beautiful speeches and a gift from the management and colleagues. With a glass in hand, along with the entire staff, we wished them all the best for the future. This was followed by a nice dinner with their team, where memories were shared and even more laughter was heard.

Véronique and Roger, thank you for all you have meant to Transuniverse. Enjoy your well-deserved retirement!
