For the second year in a row, Nitto EMEA Transuniverse Forwarding has received an award in the ‘Services & Logistics’ category. The Japanese group recently presented the trophy during the Nitto Centennial innovation Days in London.
Nitto, the Japanese manufacturer of sealing materials, industrial sticky tapes and other specialist products, has its largest EMEA zone site in Genk. For several years, Transuniverse Forwarding has been organising its transport to various European countries, the Middle-East and Africa. It picks up the goods from the factory, takes them to the cross-dock platform in Wondelgem and transports them to the different countries, where local agents take care of local distribution.
Transuniverse’s ‘control tower’ keeps an eye on the entire chain. This ensures operations are streamlined, efficient and punctual. Monitoring happens automatically, but if ever there are anomalies in the chain, people intervene proactively.
Nitto values this efficiency: just as in 2017, Sam Strijckmans, president of Nitto EMEA, presented the award to Frank Adins, the director representive of Transuniverse. He praised our exceptional performance in terms of on-time deliveries and for our customer services’ speed of response.
