Transuniverse Forwarding has been active in the groupage and transport sector since 1983. Over the years, from our offices in Wondelgem, Paris and Romania, we have built up a network of regular customers and loyal agents.

We specialise in groupage to Austria, the Baltic States, Benelux, Cyprus, Eastern Europe, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Iran, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Scandinavia, Switzerland, Maghreb, Algeria, the former Yugoslavia, Turkey and the United States.

What does a Customer Service Officer do?

You are the customer’s first point of contact with regard transport options, acceptance of orders, to follow-up on shipments, complaints, changes etc. All for the benefit of good customer service and customer satisfaction.

Your daily tasks include receiving, accepting and registering (booking-in) customer orders. You do this on specific customer portal sites. You follow the entire process from A-Z, from receipt to delivery.

In addition, you provide and obtain the necessary information to ensure goods collection runs smoothly.

You ensure that information is transferred into the TMS system correctly. You answer questions to help locate packages, or you collect basic data to prepare a document with a more complex flow.

It is therefore important to ensure that everything is done correctly and according to procedures. If necessary, you will take action independently.

Another aspect of your job is to receive complaints and pass them on to the relevant department where necessary.

 

What are your talents and skills?

  • You are stress-resistant.
  • You already have some experience with the MS-Office suite.
  • You enjoy continuing education, through both internal and external training courses.
  • Since you are in a lot of contact with our customers every day, you must feel confident to talk on the phone and to communicate by email in Dutch, French and English.
  • You can work independently, but equally well in a team.
